About the Artist
Dr. Chris Lewis is Pensacola area veterinarian and wildlife artist. He is a graduate of of Catholic High and the University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine. At an early age, Chris' mother, Mary, an artist herself, could see his talent for detail and ability to draw his subjects with great detail. Compounded with his father's interests in marine life and research, Chris realized his talent was a mixture of scientific precision and artistic vision. Chris spent his teens and twenties fishing the local waterways, but in recent years, he has found more joy in perfecting fish on paper that he once hooked (or dreamed of hooking).
When Chris is not working at the office or drawing, he's spending time with his beautiful wife Leah and thier two sons, Abe and Sam
